Stop complaining about why you couldn't do. Rather, start planning for how can you do now.  Of course, it is important to learn from your mistakes. But never mourn over the past.  There are n numbers of possibilities waiting for you. Just keep on trying. Nothing can stop you other than your own will. 

It is all about your will power. The attributes which you are thinking of are all within you. If you really want to develop and search for those positive attributes confidently, believe me, you are compitent enough to succeed. Self-realisation is the key. It brings you to the space where everything is nearby and very much feasible to convert into practical.
