It is wavy, curved, spiked at different stages as well. The motto is to live it upto the satisfaction. Don't wait for the time to change. Stop complaining about why you couldn't do. Rather, start planning for how can you do now.  Of course, it is important to learn from your mistakes. Hardly anything is there with 100% acceptance in this world, though you are doing great things with great thoughts for mankind. But, your focus should be on your intent, content and execution. Take the criticism or barriers as grinders and polish/shine your attitude towards practicality.
